Fernando Morán
European Hunter-gatherer, dynamizer of Rewilding actions
Dedicated to recovering the large wild herbivores, Fernando Morán focused his career on changing the paradigm of the conservation world and that of the hunting world to protect species and habitats in danger of extinction. Its area of action covered both, terrestrial ecosystems and the Cantabrian Sea, in a continuous action to recover European wildlife. His impressive work combined experience and action in a passionate defense of non-domesticated free life, that inspires conservation efforts around the world.
This WEBSITE compiles photos and moments that Benigno Varillas (BV) shared with Fernando Morán over twenty years of friendship as a tribute to the friend in whom he found the only ally to change the paradigm of nature conservation, long ago expired and obsolete.

(The enormous size of the bison compared to Fernando’s is because the photographer was closer to the animal and that’s why it seems too much bigger than him).
